This entry is our day trip to Cleveland, Ohio to see the "ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME!!"

It took us 3 hours to drive there, should have only taken 2.5 hours, but.......taking the scenic route, compliments of the driver. : ) The next few pictures are of my attempt to entertain myself while Alan drives.

This pic was taken before we even left our street, loverly, isn't it.

My hair was very cute that day.

I had to take my own picture because Alan was driving and we thought that it would be best if he kept his hands on wheel. Personally, I thought that we could have pulled over so that I wasn't pathetically taking all of my own pics, of me of course, but he thought that it would slow us down if we stopped..............hmmmm. Re-visit that first entry. Later he said that he should have pulled over, I took a lot of pics of myself, the drive was long, and the scenic route......well, it was mostly water. lol!!

The Day We met.....

The day I met Alan I was at work. Alan worked for the County Road Commission at the time and he came into my work on a regular basis. That first meeting we had he walked in the door and the first thing i said to my friend Annette was that he was "hot". Well, Annette said that he was too young for me. Alan came to me for help that day, and every time after when he would come in. He was coming into our office in the morning, and in the late afternoon. I took a trip to Arizona, and while I was gone he came into our office with some names (fake ones), he wanted to get my help on searching the records for these people (fake people). When he got there I wasn't there, he came the next day too, and I still wasn't there. Well, needless to say, he thought I didn't work there anymore, so he stopped coming in. He sent his co-workers instead. Well, one day he was sent in, and there I was. He went across the hall to get some info from another office and I had seen him walk in the building, so I promplty went across the hall to Nonchalantly talk to another co-worker and conveniently notice Alan. Well, he saw me and said hello, and asked if he could borrow my pen. Of course I let him, but told him that he had to bring it back. He did, and also asked me for more help. Which I promptly gave him. I helped him find several documents, he left and said that he owed me big. Once Alan was gone I realized that I had transposed some numbers and given him all the wrong information. I quickly faxed him the right info and told him to remember that he owed me big. Of course at the time I was kidding. The next day I received flowers at work from Alan and a week later we went on our first date, and 11 months later we were married.

I didn't know until later that Alan had come in with fake names so that he could ask me out on a date. I guess my going to Arizona was meant to be so that our story could be so much more interesting.
